Member Services
In Light of Us will offer members the following services:
- Your own sub-domain name.
Example: http://yourwebsitename.inlightof.us
- If you already have a web site, you can still use your inlightof.us subdomain name to redirect traffic to yourexisting site.
- If you have a domain name, you can host it on your web page here.
Example: http://www.yourwebsitename.com
NOTE: Top level domains are not required as everyone gets a sub-domain for free here. However, if you do not have a top level domain and want one, you can purchase one from a domain name seller (not affiliated with us). We recommend domains.google.com if you are looking to buy one as they are cheap and reliable.
NOTE: Users hosting their domain names with us will need to set their authoritative domain name servers to ns1.inlightof.us and ns2.inlightof.us for our servers to manage those domains.
- All inlightof.us hosting accounts will have access to FTP, PHP, SSI, MySQL and indexer gallery to makedeployment of your web page quick and convenient.
- Normally each user is permitted only one account per person. Under special circumstances, if you explainto us your particular need, we may permit a user to have more than one account. However that decision will be made on a per user/need basis.
